Thrustyjust Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Its minus 6 now here and was minus 7 when the wife got up at 7am. Too damn cold to get the Westie out. Especially as just getting over a monstrous cold. Getting bored of the cold now. Spring, hurry up !! 1 Quote
Pistol Pete Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Just back from a 7 Mile cross country run- once warmed up it was a very nice temp to run in. Quote
John K Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Thermometer said 4 degrees so I was going to go out. I walked out the back door, felt the wind chill, shuddered and walked back inside. I've just learnt to accept I'm a fully paid up member of the Wimp brigade... 1 Quote
Olliebeak Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Just come back from a walk along the beach with the dog, virtually no wind so it felt ok, however there was a strange person with shorts on up to his knees in the sea, he did have his hood up though which may have offered thermal protection to less obvious parts the head. 1 Quote

Was 2 degrees when I left the house this morning to meet up with the peak district crew, was 0 degrees by the time I met them, then out for a quick run before breakfast, where it snowed. Luckily, i had the heated seat on full, the climate control on 25 degrees and "Desert Island Discs" on R4 Extra. If anything, i was too comfortable. 2 Quote
