Jim G Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 (edited) Hi All, Im very new to Westfield ownership having just bought my first one last week. I will probably have loads of questions as I find my way around my new toy. I've been riding motorcycles for the last 37 years and still have a few in the garage. I've been looking for a Westfield for a while now and saw this one last November. I happened to be passing where it was a couple of weeks ago and dropped in to have a look at it... it was love at first sight! We did a deal and the guy even delivered it from Rhyl to Ripon for me. She's now tucked up nicely in my garage as I decide where to start improving bits and bobs - nothing too serious as she's just about right. Edited January 16, 2017 by Jim G 1 Quote

Jim G Posted January 17, 2017 Author Posted January 17, 2017 (edited) 2 hours ago, Thrustyjust said: Mmmmm, whats on the rocker cover ? Any spec on the engine ? The rocker cover is a Teme valley race design one. The engine is a 1840 crossflow running a dry sump with twin 45's. it was built by Graham Hickman who used to be Teme Valley. The car was built by a friend of his, Alex Konarzewski who sadly died in 2012. It was a labour of love and it shows. All I intend to do to it is sort out the things that have aged, like the chromework and a few other bits and bobs. Ive spoken to Graham and hopefully he is going to send me the full spec of the engine etc. So I will know more then.. Edited January 17, 2017 by Jim G 1 Quote
