Would be great. you could leave them at a long length for a high torque high compression engine and when the mood suits, fit a turbo and wind them in to lower the C.R . I hope they patented that :rolleyes:

I'm sure there are a number of patents in the field, but I know Porsche have had a patent on hydraulically adjusted variable length rods, for a variable CR engine for a few years...

Are those actual running con rods, or some kind of set up tool for checking clearances etc? They just look so flimsy and at the same time heavy!!

I would say it's a mock up tool for determining rod length
