Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Meet at Artist Corner Car Park, DE4 3PS, Matlock at 10am on 14th OR 15th Jan for a quick toilet stop and we will go the half an hour journey for probably the best breakfast in the Peak District. Glen and I have been here twice now and all the food we have had has been excellent, so you just need to experience it for yourselves. Afterwards we can have a little wiggle round the Peak District and finish off with a much needed cuppa before heading home in the day light. The weather will determine which day we go on so keep an eye on this post for an update nearer the time, if it snows it might get cancelled, we'll see (Don't forget it's The Oil Can Cafe visit on the 7th Jan) Quote
TAFKARM Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Where is this "best breakfast in the peak district" you speak of? Quote

Andy_R Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Sorry peeps my car is in bits for the next week or two. Hope to be out late Jan as I'm getting withdraw symptoms :-) Quote
TAFKARM Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Any hint on what day this is going to be yet? I've have to go wedding ring shopping apparently, (joy!) Quote
Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative Posted January 12, 2017 Author Posted January 12, 2017 If the snow that is forecast comes down then this will be postponed to next weekend, the high country roads of the Peak District will be much worse than the towns. I would hate to stop you from going shopping, Russ . Quote
TAFKARM Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Snows no problem for me, I'm bringing the daily. Quote
