2016 claims yet another musical great............sad news.

I've liked this, but don't really like it. Another one gone in 2016.

I saw Quo twice in the last couple of years, they really put on a great show, full of energy, Rick and Francis didn't stop for the whole show. Sadly missed.

I'd still like to see Aquostic though.

Just found out by the wife, as been at the pictures this afternoon. Not my type of music at all, but sad times will make 2016 a rubbish year for famous people passing away.

And Carrie Fisher isn't in a great way after being medivac'd off a London to US flight, she's in intensive care after a heart attack.

Taken too early but then I guess if you have a quadruple bypass at 48 your lifestyle is a factor.

 

Wish  the organisation at Silverstone Classic a couple of years ago was a bit better so I could have stayed to see them..

Yup, she was lucky she was 15 mins from landing. Just shows long term drug abuse catches up with you later in life.

Yeah, I must admit, I was slightly surprised when they gave her age, again, the lifestyle of her youth has left its marks...

I can forsee the headlines in the future on the NHS saying that all this cannabis and cocaine abuse that people have been taking in the 2000's have overtaken alcohol abuse and whoever thought cannabis should be downgraded was right not to let it happen , as the country would struggle moreso in the health service and addiction culture.

Wasn't a fan of the Quo, but Friday nights at the disco doing the aces to "whatever you want" is a fond memory. Very sad and a year like no other I can remember in terms of people passing!
