Thats more or less what the factory charge for IVA and registration , although SVA maybe an interesting proposition these days. From a brief look, it has no nut protectors on the balljoints, covers on the steering rack ends, covers on the seatbelts , battery terminal protection, knee protection under the dash and thats just a quick look,,,,,,,,,, So will need things done to get it through.

You're so damn fussy :d

Cars must be able to get through IVA with carbs. Potentially end up as a Q plate, in which it could constitute a smoke test only. But these X1's are going through on age related plates with carbs .

All down to engine age. an old pre cat era engine must only meet appropriate pre cat era emissions, so is fine on carbs, the later the engine though the stricter the emissions test, and obviously, things like cats start being needed to get through.

I managed to get a 99 r1 engine through on carbs. It wasn't easy mind. 400 cell Cat and carbs leaned off. Even had to adjust them at iva twice to scrape through.
