2.0 Zetec oil dipstick

can anyone offer any advice as to how you fit the dipstick tube once the exhaust manifold is in place.  the manual just says to remove it and refit it after.  I take it you need to bend it to fit it??

i found that the standard one that was fitted to the engine on the two st170s i used would not fit around the exhaust. even with bending. it was the metal clip that was at the top seemed to be wrong. the race line water rail did not help.

i bought a new one from kit spares which had a slightly different bit at the top and it only needed a bit of adjustment.

I managed to bend my std one to fit.

Made my standard one fit. To get it out just pull it strait upwards
