studbuckle Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 Dizzy and power pack as sold from Burtons for £169 but excluding coil... (about 25 quid). Have seen it sparking but not working fully as decided to stick with my Aldon and points. Hence £60 + P&P or I can take to Curborough
SteveD Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 can you take it to curby so i can have a look at it ,thanks steve
studbuckle Posted June 18, 2003 Author Posted June 18, 2003 yours.... X-flow, complete with side entry cap to get under the webers
furtive Posted June 18, 2003 Posted June 18, 2003 Hmmm.. And what difference would it make? And is it easy for a wally like me to fit?
studbuckle Posted June 18, 2003 Author Posted June 18, 2003 Dead easy as I did it... (got it wrong) and did it again twice so I can advise... As for advantages. It gives a better advance curve than normal distributor if you have a high profile Cam and of course once it's in you dont need to touch it again, no gapping points and replacing them after x number of miles HTH
studbuckle Posted June 18, 2003 Author Posted June 18, 2003 Er, once in a while yes The service routine should be plugs, points oil and filters
