woodneyuk Posted October 14, 2016 Author Posted October 14, 2016 Baahaaha...to be fair, that was my description of the colour, not hers :-) Just sounds better than "the green colour on that car we saw once...you know, on the one next to the red one" Quote
6carjon Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 I have my garage mostly covered in these over a painted floor https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/anti-fatigue-foam-floor-tiles-pk6/ From machine mart. They are ok with drill swarf and some heat but will melt a little if you have an underslung exhaust and they touch it. They increase in size in the summer so will buckle if you dont leave a gap for expansion. Their real bonus is how soft and warm they make the floor you will inevitably lie on for a long time. If you dont want to do the whole floor just buy a few and use as a kneeling or lay mat as you move around. My friend runs a chips away painting franchise and spends hours on these outside and is a real fan. Best of luck Jon Quote
Yanto Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 I have cheap "beech" laminate flooring in mine, been down 6 years, has hardly marked, easily cleaned and surprising resistant to water. Quote
