Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 I know when I changed to SF's, I had to get a new back plate, as the combination of bore spacing and bolt hole pattern meant my old Jenvey DCOE style back plate would have been a nightmare to adapt.
Maurici- CleaR Motorsport Posted October 7, 2016 Author Posted October 7, 2016 I asume that the filter itself is going to CleaR the trumpets? In that case, I could allways cable tie the filter to the existing base... (That would be ideal to swap in trackdays if I don't pass the "drive by" noise... 1
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 (edited) I do have the filter still, though it's a bit battered, but you can have it to test with. Scratch that idea, just been and had a look, the outer surface has started going dry and powdery in places. I wouldnt want to put that on an expensive engine in case more of it starts breaking up under "vacuum" and heat. Edited October 7, 2016 by Dave Eastwood (gadgetman) - WSCC AO Rep

I can buy any "sausage" cheap filter that clears 90mm trumpets. Will look aroundCheers dave!!
