East Coast Fibreglass- Good folks

I bought circa £20 of parts last Month to fix my mud flaps on with from East Ccoasst Fibre glass. Parts arrived correctly on time and I've used them. Yesterday they sent an email saying they're issued a full refund. Followed shortly by a PayPal refund! I replied toto their email with a simple, "Why"

Here's their answer:

Hi Ian,

Apologies for the confusion. We were testing our order software yesterday and one of the team inadvertently refunded your order instead of a test order!

If this was a big order we would be in the awkward position of asking you to pay again, but as it is - Enjoy your free goods! J

I'll third the praise for ECF.

I have purchased materials from them over the years and there always first class with products and advice.

Yeah, I've used them lots as well. They were the place I got the various big heads from for the clamshells, and it was they who recommended the specialist adhesive that made the job so much easier.

Even did a fibreglass course at their factory a few years back with John Dickens, found it interesting and learnt a lot.

Any idea when the next test is?

 

We have to encourage these people, as they do gel coat repair kits in 6 different yellows - one must be a close match, or as close as the factory can get with replacement panels    And they do Carbon
