Nick H Posted June 4, 2003 Posted June 4, 2003 1660cc Crossflow engine installation for sale due to 4AGE upgrade . 711M block Recently converted unleaded head with new (standard size) valves Alloy Rocker Cover Jensen alloy lowered sump “Valencia” electronic ignition distributor with side exit cap and new HT leads Coil Starter Solenoid Westfield Stainless Exhaust System – 4 into 1 manifold, silencer and new heat shield Twin 40 Dellortos on new manifold – recently serviced with genuine Dellorto service kit from Eurocarb, including trumpets and throttle linkage Engine mounts to suit narrow bodied car Bell housing to suit type 9 gearbox including starter motor Cylinder head coolant connection with filler cap and cooling fan switch Spare (new) set of spark plugs Spare (new) oil filter ***The small print: This engine has poor compression on two cylinders and is in need of refurbishment . The carbs are not correctly jetted for the current set up meaning the engine runs rich.*** Can be seen running in car until around 20th June. Photos available on request.
