Quaife ATB LSD in ford Sierra 7" casing with bolt on shafts, fitted with a 4.1 final drive.

All in good working order and the casing is in great condition.

Very hard to find these days.

thanks guys I was told when one wheel lifts it will spin the power away rather than locking up like a plate LSD is this true.i understand they are good but possibly not so good for hill sprinting where tight corners cause the wheel to lift.any thoughts or exsperiances would be greatfully recieved

i run quaife units no problem . no maintenance and no planet gears to break. 

 

plated diff if set up correctly is better . but dont discount the quaife unit ..after all new 4.1 crown wheel and pinion will set you back £680 and quaife unit about £750   . but you will need quaife output shafts to use . or get yours modified.

 

 

you can always sell the quaife unit on. and swap with plated unit.if you dont like .
