Speed sensor on new FW kit.

Trying to find the speed sensor that now gets fitted to the rear of the car but the Manuel is not much help. Could anyone help with a pic or discription of what the sensor looks like and were it should be fitted. Thanks

The newer kits use a speed sensor on the front wheel (or at least mine did). There was a connection for a rear sensor on the loom but I did not use it.

The sensor should be with the speedo.

Thanks Nick, I would of never looked at the speedo.  It was their right enough.  Did you run the speed sensor cable directly to the speedo or use the plug in the main loom?

I plugged it into the loom rather than running the cable along the chassis upper rail on mine.

any of the pin positions of the speedo plug that needs fitted?

That depends how old your loom is! They have only just started running a wire in the loom for it I believe.

The older looms you had to run it separately.
