Steering column spline.

Hi, i have just bought a 2003 registered SEW with ignition/steering lock just under the dash. The steering wheel is too much of a stretch for me so i was going to fit a spacer but they all seem to be 70/74 mm pcd six hole , my original looking Westfield badged hub and spacer are 4" 102mm pcd (old school) so could anyone tell me what the steering column spline is so i can get a new 70/74 mm hub and space that. The column is tapped for a center bolt as apposed to threaded for a nut.

Thanks in advance for any information Tommy.

You need to count the splines, they are usually 48 spline allegro columns. If it is Land Rover defender ones fit.

Hi Tommy, just changed mine as well this is what you need, I also so went quick release which brought it forward 50mm and is far comfier and easier to get in and out off plus adds great security. I went for the Brown and Geeson quick release as they are UK made and been around for ages, be aware cheap Chinese stuff on the web.

I got the boss from Demon Tweeks eBay store

I managed to get this in the end for £89 on line
