John K Posted August 24, 2016 Author Share Posted August 24, 2016 OK first things first to preemptively protect my reputation... I'm quite good at DIY and when I do a job, I do it well. So I sort of knew what was causing the knocking and knew what to look for and to make sure that all the copper pipes could move over the joists easily. So when I said I did a good job of putting the plumbing felt at all the rubbing points I did. Except... I did the cold water pipes not the hot... So when I was sat on the bog listening to the knocking I was wondering how the hell... Because I knew all the pipes were floating free. Yeah...
