Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Have you used the same sort of stuff they use for wrapping cars? What sort of thickness are the stripes, i.e. Do they have a pronounced "edge"? Quote
Gary Taylor Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Thanks Geoffrey, she sure looks a wee bit different now:) Hi Dave, yes it the same stuff for wrapping cars the red is a red carbon effect, the silver is the same as this link http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190765717734?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&var=490241035713&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT thickness is 160 micron it does leave a raised edge but very little I bottled out of wrapping the nose so it was painted laqured and then striped. After applying the stripes I went over the edges with a heat gun to seal down. Went over a 1000 miles and no problems so I am more than happy with it Quote
