Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative
Waiting for a weather report but just in case it is nice this cracking car show is on. No need to pre-book, come and go as you like, nice and relaxed. Details of where to meet so we can get parked up together will be posted nearer the time. Labrat
Up for that weather allowing, what is access like? Just thinking of my poor exhausts and valence! Also, do you go to Ashover Show (10th August I think)? Luke.
Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative
Meet at 9.30 am McDonalds, Alma Leisure Park, Derby Road, Chesterfield, S40 2EZ. From there it is 7 miles, 15 minutes to the show. Luke, access is through a field so if it is too bad you may have to park up at the entrance. The Rotary Club run this event and they are really nice people, I am sure they will look after you. Yes, we go to the mid-week country show also, in the Westfield of course, so I can arrange that with you on Sunday if you want to go together. I could even post it up on here if there is enough interest for that sort of thing.
Labrat
Great. I have booked the Wednesday off anyway for Ashover so it would be great to take the car if the weather is OK. Next week will be OK. Apologies for not making it today but I had Bob. Got my days mixed up…doh! Luke.

Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative
Martyn and Sue, Russ, Gareth and Luke met us at McD's, there were all sorts of unusual cars everywhere, both driving past and coming and going through the car park. It was like being in a surreal world where everyone has a nice car. We followed Luke who took us a different way to the show, one that avoided the speed bumps, that is a very low positioned car, Luke. Alan soon came along with Thundernuts. There were 3 fields of cars to look at as well as an autojumble. There was a vast variety of cars and bikes, even an army tank and a classic bus. It was a good venue to catch up with everyone and of course there was lots of excited chattering about Silverstone next weekend. Everyone left as they needed to, except Martyn and Sue, so we decided to have a pose through Matlock Bath and go for a little photo shoot at Crich Stand, where they just also happen to sell tea and cake's. The view from the top of the stand. Zoom in and you can see the cars Thank you to everyone for coming and see you next weekend at Silverstone.
Labrat
Good to see everyone at Ashover. I even managed to get back in time to hitch up the horse trailer for Gemma. I think a larger diameter wheel and tyre combination beckons to get a bit more ground clearance but I was OK getting out of the field again, and have spent a while removing grass from the exhausts and gearbox this afternoon. See you again soon. Luke.
