Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup)
I HAVE A QUITE A BIT OF INTEREST IN THE RUN. I AM NOW MAKING THIS A DEFINATE DRIVE OUT. PLEASE SEE POST NUMBER 14 FOR DETAILS. I am planning a blooming good run for Sunday 14th August and wondered if anyone would care to join us for an adventure. Darlington would be a good meeting place for anyone from the Leeds area. This is a long run but it is a great one and we can start the day with breakfast in a cafe around 7.00am for people close to me or perhaps Whitby. The run will be coastal to begin with, then moorland and ending with forestry. Dinner will be at the Kielder Castle Visitors Centre. I have already done this run and its a great run on great roads It is a long run so I would like to gauge peoples interest. This is the route from my house and it will be the same route there and back.

Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup)
Hi Robin. Ok. Thanks for letting me know. I didn't realise. I chose the Sunday as there is the bank holiday Monday the day after to recover.
Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO
It's a Bank Holiday in Scotland on the Monday, August Bank is on the 29th. I was up that way last weekend, but not in the Westfield, on the A68 towards Kelso. There's some good roads in the Borders.

Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup)
Morning men. If there is interest I can move the date two weeks further along.... I think as need to check. I am just trying to gauge interest at this stage and to see if I can get any commitment as I would need to book the Monday off work to enable me to do the trip on a Sunday. I AM REVISING THESE DATES SO THAT IT DOES NOT CLASH WITH SILVERSTONE. I WILL CHANGE THE DETAILS LATER TODAY.
