Badger56 Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 Does anyone have any recent experience of Aldon in Brierley Hill? I'm thinking of booking the Seight in for a rolling road set up, its running a TVR 4L V8 on a Edelbrock 500 4 barrel carb. If that helps. Cheers. Quote
Martyn Vann - Warwickshire AO Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 FWIW I went there with a friends Westfield last year, no complaints and the car drove very well afterwards. Quote
Castlecroft Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 went there with a previous westie, wont go into detail but not a good experience, ...... i then went to another place (JPR tuning Yate near Bristol), who were great and John (the carb tuner) really knows his stuff.... Quote
JulianE Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 Funnily enough I got recommended to JPR too by a friend who has quite few rally cars done by him and speaks very highly of him , perhaps a bit far for you to go though Quote
BenD Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 I was gonna take my westfield there for mapping prices we very high compared to others. Quote
allegory Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 I had my pinto on carbs turned at Aldon last year - good experience as replaced distributor and converted points to electronic ignition. they didn't have the kit to touch the vernier pulley unlike Northampton Motorsport where it was done before. Car ran well at donington the following day. Quote
