garytipping Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Hi All, Does anybody recognise which pedal box my 1986 pre lit chassis was designed to take? I have a 'standard' Westfield pedal box, but that is designed to fit on the bulkhead between the scuttle and the 'frame' that is there to accept the correct peddal box. I can't fit the standard pedals as there is a diagonal chassis member where it should fit. Any suggestions appreciated, but I might need to go floor mounted. Cheers Gary Quote
Thrustyjust Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 I believe it maybe ford escort with a modded and rewelded clutch pedal. You will need a ford cortina mk3 master cylinder to bolt to it too. I am 100 % on the master cylinder but I am sure I am hopefully correct on the pedals. Quote
garytipping Posted June 15, 2016 Author Posted June 15, 2016 Thanks, sounds a likely culprit. Regards Gary Quote
Welly Jen Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Early post-lit cars used a modified mk1 Escort pedal box. Likely that the pre-lit is too. Jen Quote
