SIDESCREENS TOP HINGE

Hi All,

I recently buy the sidescreen for my westy, BUT the sidescreen arrived with lower hinges !!

So I have lower hinges on the windscreen and on the sidescreen.

 

And the problem is on the westfield official part shop, the top hinges are out of stock !!!!  grrrrrr

So.....is there anybody who could sell me 2 top hinges LEFT and 2 for the RIGHT side ?

There was another recent thread about these hinges and it seems they are hard to get hold of at the moment.  I was planning to get some wind deflectors but need to find a solution to the hinge problem first.

 

I assume the problem is that you have "female" hinges on the doors?  If so, could you get/make a suitable pin to slot into the holes in the windscreen pillars?

You right, If I don't have the choice, it's what I will try to do, but I prefer find the original "male" hinge....

I have 4 female hinges to sell...no troubles, I soon I have found 4 male hinges lol

Hi, Just looked in the Car Builder Solutions catalogue. They have pairs of stainless steel lift off hinges at £7 per pair.
