Westfield Refurb - Progress!

Hi all, about a month ago I posted about buying my first Westfield that had sat for 10 years and a lot of you on here game me some great advice and asked me to do a build thread. With me being me I totally forgot to make a thread so this is basically a little update (by the power of bullet points) on how things are going

- calipers and discs refurbished

- tyres replaced on all 5, wheels were in good condition already

- engine starts, seem to have a carb issue but they need to be serviced anyways

- handbrake and clutch released and now work well

- total engine bay clean up and refurb where necessary

- new flexible fuel lines

- cleaned out old coolant system

- full service

- new numberplate light and spare wheel rack refurb

- refurbs on starter motor and alternator, both now work like a dream

There's still a bit to do but Im nearly at the Mot stage now so all of the tarting up bits can be done after, need loads of rechroming done so if anyone can recommend someone that would be awesome! I'll try and attach the engine before and after pics, opinions are certainly welcome as it's the first time I've ever done this, thanks again to those that helped around a month ago!

As for chroming, I see you are in Kent, so maybe someone from the south east can recommend someone in your part of the world. There are plenty of chrome platers around; no point in me recommending someone in the Midlands!
