Telepathic Carbon Fabrication?

I think Mark at Carbon NV must have telepathic skills as he seemed to have known exactly which direction to lay the weave so it matches my steering wheel :t-up:

Another well finished product. Thanks Mark.

looks good, will you be putting dig-dash of some description in?

I just had a feeling that was the right way to go Dave

That steering wheel's the star of the pic, though...good work!

Thanks, I was pleased with the result, although I will be even happier when it is all working and I can go for a drive!

I plan to use the black button to operate the lap/acceleration timer on the digidash, but not quite sure how its input works as it has three connections on the digidash loom.

What material are the three main screws that hold the wheel to the boss?

Bought them from Pro Bolt. Made of titanium.

Are those pre labelled switches or have you diy'd them?

I bought them from ebay. 20 switches for less than a tenner. No labels on them though, just my memory. Greens will be indicators,  left blue will be lights on/off, right blue will be flash or main/dip beam, red is for horn, black to operate acceleration/lap timer on digidash. Labels on the coloured part of switch would be good but not quite sure how I could do that.

Ah my mistake I thought in the photo they looked like they had small white logos on some of them.

You have got me thinking now though...

Silk screen printing is apparently how the logos on the Raptor switches are done.

The decal sheet from JJC does a good job on a back plate, too

I am still going to look at getting some round vinyl labels with white writing on written in a circle around the edge, plan being the sticker will have a small cross in the middle, you stick this in the centre of the hole then pierce the centre and push the switch through. Once tightened down you should see a ring of text around the switch stating it use.

Cheap too.
