It's our regular monthly meet time again, this Thursday, 7.30 pm at the Whipping Stocks Inn, near Knutsford.

Weather permitting, does anyone fancy a short run out this week, returning to the 'Stocks around 9pm?

A lovely summery night last night, a great chance for a run out through some of the (mainly) quieter Cheshire lanes, though apologies to Mark and Mark who got separated in one of the little bits of traffic to be a pain.

Still, having two more Honda powered cars plus Jon's simply awesome AJ8 monster in convoy behind me, I just couldn't help myself, a quick divert through Alderly Edge and skirting Wilmslow had us on the road to the airport tunnels. I could almost feel the anticipation on of dropping gears behind me as one by one everyone realised where we were. I wasn't disappointed either.

I slowed right off and moved over, while Phil (S2000 Jenveys) shot past like some kind of angry, prehistoric wasp on steroids, closely followed by the enraged T Rex that Jon was piloting. (Complete with flames as he lifted after passing me!) Ian's S2000 finished the line up sounding far meaner than anything with such a pink and fluffy looking nose has any right to!

After that it seemed only right to boot it in second and catch up...

The Whipping Stocks has recently been adopted by a Ferrari owners club, so as we returned, we got, once more, to park in and amongst some lovely looking exotica.
