North East Alpine Adventure 2016

So tomorrow a few of us head off on our Trans Europe tour to the Alps.

With 5 Westies a Dax Rush and 3 motorbikes it should be a lot of fun!

Eventful first day. Battery cable somehow touched manifold causing it's to short out, and blowing the battery. Amazing how quick you can escape a car bonnet off and with fire extinguisher in hand.

Thankfully was right outside a kik fit so was an easy swap

Temporary held on, should do for the trip and fasten properly when arrive back home

These kind of holidays are more an adventure. Modern cars just work too easy. Being able to complete a tour in a seven is an achievement tbh.. The mishaps will be talked about for years to come.

Eventful few days, after my battery 'blowing up' the exhaust decided to snap. Quick temporary repair to get back on the way and the result was a work of art



This was quickly followed by micks dax battery packing up again, resulting in being towed back to the hotel by Graeme.

Some of the views and majority of the roads are spectacular and make all the troubles (and rain) very much worth it
