Silver Fox 2016
Up for sale due to a new business venture 2007 Westfield 1600 Zetec SEiW Registered March 2007 on an 07 plate Declared new at first registration 4500 miles Current MOT until August 2016 I have owned the car for the past 5 years and only covered 1500 miles. 2 previous owners The car has doors but no wet weather gear. There are a couple of small marks on the bonnet and front nose cone but they do not detract from what is a lovely car which has been well built. There are also a couple of marks on two of the alloy wheels which have been caused by pot holes; I have not replaced them due to the state of the roads. If you are looking for a great road going Westfield this could be the one. Message me if you have any questions. Silver Fox 2016
Help required. I could do with selling my Westfield and would love some advice as to what I should do; am I asking to much money? If so any ideas what it is worth?
B.RAD
Just my personal opinion but more technical information would help - engine and gearbox specs, brakes, any upgrades etc. A 1600 zetec is relatively rare & I'm sure prospective buyers would be keen to know more info. Also if you've had any professional set up done on the car (engine, suspension, geometry etc) then post up the detail. Best of luck with the sale, looks to be a very nice car!
Kingster
Also - point out that it's a Zetec SE Sigma engine - rather than an early 1600 Zetec. The two engines are very different and the Sigma is way more desirable as it is more powerful and very light engine. Your's also has ShawSpeed on the cam cover - so has it been tuned? If so, more info would be good. What type of throttle bodies, what ECU and who mapped it - do you have a dyno print out? Every bit of detail helps - look at this forum ad for a good idea on 'how to do it right'
Rich Harvey
Hi Silver Fox I've just sold my Stylus and am looking at getting a Westie, spotted yours and wondered if you could tell me more about it please. What are the throttle bodies on it (are they Jenvey?). What sort of BHP are you getting out of it? What's the ECU and is that roll bar an MSA approved one. Look forward to hearing back from you. Rich. P.s. If you have any photos of the slight scuffs on the body work then that would be good to view also. Cheers
Silver Fox 2016
Hi Rich Yes, the throttle bodies are Jenvey and it has an Omex ecu. I was told that the engine was running at 130 bhp but I do not have a print out. It has adjustable Spax suspension but again I don't know if it was set up by a specialist. I bought the car privately but I know that the guy I bought it from either bought it from or had work carried out by a specialist garage in Leeds called RS 2 Westfield Specialists, their telephone number is 01132522170. If you call them tell them it was Billy Pearce's car, they will know the car. Let me know if you need anything else. Kind regards Michael
Rich Harvey
Hi Michael Many thanks for this. One final question, is the roll bar MSA approved? Cheers Rich
Kingster
Looks very much like the playskool MSA bar to me.
B.RAD
'MSA Approved' is just a set of measurements, needs to be 45mm tubing which it looks like it is.
