Gary Taylor
Hi David Yes I saw the yellow westie but there was no one about when I went by , yes we will have to arrange something and meet up, luckily the roads dried up some on the way home. Were meant to have it a bit warmer end of the week so ......... where to?

David-hrv
Thank you so much for those kind comments Gary. I really appreciate it. I decided not to have it judged at the show as I didn't know which category it should be in. Maybe next year I'll go for it and see what happens. I spoke to the guy (from Wick) who had the orange one and it sounds like he's going to sell it soon as he wants an Escort RS2000. He said if he keeps his Westie for much longer, he won't keep his licence (he admitting to maxing it out at 125mph on the road!). That weekend run you described sounds good. I could perhaps meet you at the Lecht (or Tomintoul on the way there). Obviously, it's dependent on weather, but I'm sure we can sort something out. I'll give you a call nearer the weekend. Anybody else want to join us?
Gary Taylor
ok so watched the forecast and it IS going to be lovely, so leaving dufftown around 10am sunday, this should see us up cairngorm around lunchtime , hopefully get some good pics / video David is that ok with you? Any one else ?
David-hrv
That's exactly what I was thinking Gary. Weather seems better for Sunday and it means my son can ride with me (he wouldn't be able to come Saturday as he's at the Inverness Science Festival). So, Sunday it is then. Are you still planning to be at the Lecht first for coffee? What time will you be there? I reckon about 10:45 or 11:00? Then a drive to Cairngorm for lunch sounds great. Everyone welcome if anybody else can make it.
Gary Taylor
that sounds spot on lets say 1am at the lecht for coffee then onwards. Glad your son can come along too Gary
David-hrv
That's great Gary. I'll see you (and anybody else that can make it) at 11am at the Lecht for a coffee and natter and then a drive to lunch. My son now may not make it as he is cramming for exams and has a lot on at the moment, but we'll see. Cheers, David
