Lower wishbone ball join splitter.

Recommended Posts

Hello. Having trouble to split the lower wisbone ball joint (the one that goes to the upright)... my both ball joint splitters (scisors style in two different sizes) doesn't fit... and hammering Ive only achieved a smashed thread. (No problem I have the new ones ready to go in the car).

Any advice about the right tool to use?

Cheers!

Maurici.

I presume you have the car jacked up off the ground

Yes... Jacked. Wheel off. Wings off to make the job easier and all the relevant nuts off.

Ops!!

I was no joking... I didn't knew if it was a popular or technic name... My english outside my job is very very límited.

Cheers guys. Will try ti find the correcto size, as mines are two of those... One is too small an the other too big and I've just assumed that this style was only not suitable.

Cheers!!
