Holding up doors & hood- side screen hinge plates

Hi,

I am looking to buy some spare side screen hinge plates to hold up the doors in the garage. Is this the Best way to do it?

Does anyone have any suggestions of how to hang/store the hood?

I think most people leaving it off the car long term, just store the hood rolled up as normal. Though maybe not quite so tightly coiled, so as to avoid creasing the windows. Just make sure it's clean and dry before putting it away.

With both the sidescreens and the hood, just make sure nothing is pressing against the clear plastic of the windows - even just things like the rounded backs of press studs. You'd be surprised how over time and with some hot weather, the plastic can stretch and mark where something has been pressing into it sharply.
