I have two roll-top bags in blue (they also did yellow at the time) totally waterproof that have done me and the missus for 2 x Scotland, 1 Ireland, 1 x Spain, 1 x Switzerland and an Austrian Tour, not to mention the forthcoming Italy tour.  They were either £5 or £10 each, made by Crane and have certainly stood the test of time.

I received my 40 ltr bag yesterday and it will allow the bag and a rucksack to go on the back as its not as wide as the 60 ltr. Will get a picture at the weekend but the 40 is still a big bag.... In my opinion
