2004 or 05, Mud - hands free in the Orange car SVA'd just before me, and in time for Stoneleigh.

Had wind deflector problems, came off and got stuck between exhaust and body....

Oh dear! Having not driven in a Westie convoy before, I wasn't sure what the etiquette is and whether we should have stopped to help you.

I trust you got to Stoneleigh though?

Yes joined convoy at rear,no problem

I think the term " we leave no man behind" is restricted to the armed forces only..

It's too dangerous on a motorway to have everyone stop, the way we do on A road break downs. Myself and a couple of others slowed to pull over both times, but as soon as we saw you had at least one car with you, carried on again. (I actually got as far as pulling on to the hard shoulder the first time, then looked behind me to see three or more cars pulling over!
