Hi just wondering what every one has used to cover the gap between the leaver and the tunnel top if you have no carpets on the tunnel top ? i have been looking for a suitable gaiter and bezel but cant find anything sutable

I have cut a new decorative one peace tunnel top out of gloss black hdpe sheet and fixed this over the transmission tunnel, leaving the alloy sheets underneath  and fitted a new gaiter around the gear stick but just need to find something to finish around the handbrake

any photos or suggestions welcome as i am loosing the will to live looking on ebay :)

many thanks Alan

This is how I had it for IVA it's just WF handbrake surround wrapped with vinyl.

This is how it is now I just glued it to the bottom of the top then glued a rubber gaiter over that.

thanks Andy, looks a neat solution, i cant find the gator on the westfield web site but i can see the ring that you used in the first IVA photo, i am wanting to make an invisible fixing so will probably need to take the tunnel top of again anyway, my cars a 2000 model so the handbrake leaver looks a little different

I think i might wait and until stoneleigh and try and find a gator there as its difficult trying to select something just from photos on the web,  but have just ordered some carbon fiber cloth so might try and make a flat seal to fix underneath the top

cheers  Alan

Yep I would wait for Stoneliegh to get some ideas, the cloth gaiters came of eBay which I took s punt on I had the rubber bit of WF.

You won't see many handbrakes like mine as I swapped it to the s2000 one I had.

See you a Stoneliegh
