They are T1R's in the listing description. £170 for 4 new on the internet.

I think they've used a misleading picture :-)

You may be right, no harm in check which tyres they really are.

Offset figures would be handy too.

They ask you what offset you want, well they did when I ordered mine sometime ago.

The clue is in the product code

"TOYOTYREPACKAGET1R15"   :-)

Out of interest has anyone seen WF do a R1R package?

That's what id be after shortly, and WF seem to be pretty well priced for TD 1.2 and tyres.

Type used to,  but I think now that R1Rs are in limited supply (UK supply any way) they don't seem to now.

You can but ask, but a lot of the really good R1R based deals from a year or two back were down to R1Rs being sold off cheaply in bulk to get rid of stocks.

R1R's are still around, but most people on here seem to be reporting buying them from specialists in Europe who still have stock.

(I spoke to, er Alan(?) sorry terrible with names, at the spring open day at Westfield last year, and he admired that despite the ecu rulings etc, they could buy R1R's from Toyo still. It's just such a comparatively small seller in the UK, thanks to botched marketing leaving a lot of enthusiasts unaware of what they are, or their place in the Toyo line up.

He said there and then, that if I was prepared to buy a shipping container full, or could persuade someone else to, they'd happily bring one in.

I just bought a set of 4 x R1R 205/50 15's from oponeo for £308 delivered. Took 4 working days and came from Germany

Well, I have today ordered the T1'rs and rims from the factory for the car build, so hope they will be ready for my collection date. I am sure they will be fine for a road car rather than more race type tyres. I got wider rears as well and 205 tyres,

The T1R is a great tyre, particularly for the price. I've gone up to R1R's because I had too much trouble keeping the wheels from spinning in 1st and particularly, 2nd,  under hard acceleration. Other than that, they have been superb.

Bargain R1R's here - just ordered some, could't resist at just over £25 a corner!

EDIT - they say it was an error and cancelled my order - in case anyone doesn't read the full thread...
