ralphy Posted April 5, 2016 Author Posted April 5, 2016 The Tiger ones seem to be a bit more robust, also, as they use the three mounting points for the (un-fitted) dust shields, they're easier to fit. The Westfield ones share one mounting bolt with the brake callipers, and are then held in place by the upper ball joint. However to do this, the iron upright needs a small modification. It can be done at home with a grinder - with care, but just wanted you to be aware, in case it influences your descision. Thanks Dave, it may well do (influence) ;-) But I’ll hold out for a short while to see if any 2nd hand ones turn up before turning to the Tiger’s. mattstone79 Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 If it helps at all I have just sent my westfied cortina cycle brackets back to the factory to exchange them for the ones for westfield aluminuim uprights. So they should have a pair of cortina one's in stock shortly. Quote
