tolf Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Shame he's gone. Funny to all ages and good clean humour. Might light 4 candles for him tonight 1 Quote
Northwarks Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Yeah sad day, I grew up on the Two Ronnies, classic old school comedy and as you point out great clean humour and great use of the double entendre .... I mean how many folk know the four candles sketch - as famous as the Python parrot Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 What a shame, a sad loss all round, and no great age these days. One of those rare comedians that could appeal to all ages; with Ronnie B, he was a staple of my childhood TV viewing, watched and laughed with by the whole family, whatever our different ages. Though we weren't always laughing at exactly the same things, but that was his skill! The Phantom Rasberry Blower of Olde London Town will remain one of my favourite long running sub-stories for ever, as silly as it was! Quote
