Hey Guys! Newbie from Oxford

Recommended Posts

Just thought i'd drop by and introduce myself.

My name is Trick, 29 and from Oxford.

I have always been a fan of kit cars, especially the 7/Westfield style. Timeless design as well as great performance. I was once taken out in one when I was 18 and was absolutely blown away! Since that day I vowed that I would own one. But every time I set myself up to purchase one something always popped up (Kids, house move, work etc) to put a stop to it. It is only now I have available funds, space in the garage and a good work/life balance where I can actually purchase a Westfield! :d YayYay!

I have £5k as from tomorrow afternoon to purchase a car. I'm not in a massive rush to get it now. But if the right one comes in at the right price, I'm open. If anyone has one or knows one for sale not tooo far from Oxford in my price range please let me know.

Regards,

Trick

Welcome mate. You will get loads of good advise on buying your first Westfield here. As I was advised, don't rush into something, ask plenty of questions first.

Cheers for the welcome guys.

My plan for owning is to have something to drive in the summer, something fun and exciting. Haven't had a fun car since my Integra 10 years ago. During the long and cold (and wet I hasten to add) winter I plan to build on what i have. At the moment I'm not looking for all out power or intricate handling. I want to build up my confidence and limits in the car before I go mental.
