Stu Faulkner
Help, I let my Norton 360 run out and now I have downloaded the new norton antivirus. the new one wont run becarse the old one is still there and the old one wont delete. Is there a free one that works with norton in place? Or any other ideas?

Castlecroft
You need to use Norton uninstaller program to remove the antivirus, Link here: https://support.norton.com/sp/en/uk/home/current/solutions/kb20080710133834EN_EndUserProfile_en_us after that i would recommend AVG, the free version
Stuart
Use free Revo Uninstaller which should clear out all traces in the registry etc. Good free antivirus are Avast, Avira, AVG, Comodo amongst others. I use Comodo cos it also has a firewall. That + Malwarebytes + CCleaner works for me on Windows
Stuart
Oh and not a good idea to run two antivirus systems at once
