Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup) Posted April 12, 2016 Author Posted April 12, 2016 Kingster. Try to come down Rosedale Chimney as you enter Rosedale. Great views and Britain's steepest road with 2 hairpin bends. Go steady. Quote
tex Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Going ups more fun in a seven... Hill climb.. Tight near the bottom then opens up. If anyones interested for another day there is a WONDERFUL walk around the head of the valley on the old railway track. Dead flat and goes past the old mine workings.. Stunning views and poignant feelings of past lives.. When you see where it is... Steam trains ran there.. Iv got some literature on it. Quote

Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Sorry for gatecrashing but I just wanted to let you know that the East Yorkshire Thorughbred Car Club have a display on at Goathland on the same day. If you want somewhere to go, it's only half hour away. Have fun, Julie 1 Quote
Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup) Posted April 13, 2016 Author Posted April 13, 2016 Hi Julie. Thanks for letting us know. Unfortunately for me, I have a 260 mile drive to work, straight after we have finished the "function" so my time may be somewhat limited. I might just have to go to work late. Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Sorry, I'm still on hospital visiting duty, I'm not going to make it. Quote

Here is a bit about the chimney. http://www.dangerousroads.org/europe/england/2303-rosedale-chimney.html The drone is charging, so gentleman......Start those engines. Quote
Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup) Posted April 16, 2016 Author Posted April 16, 2016 I will have four cars and 5 or 6 bodies as long as you don't object to an interloper in a Dax Rush Hi Chris. Thats great news. No problem with a Dax Rush whatsoever. Quote
