Put the doors and roof on, shut the vents that send warm air to your feet so all the warm air goes to the windscreen.

You are going to tell me now that you have no heater, aren't you? bbrr please no, not at minus 2

Will the windscreen steam up? If the temperature is the same inside and out there shouldn't be a problem, it was -2 up here when I was out today and I had no bother.

Mark

I don't have a heater

Just make sure your head, hands and shoulders stay warm and you will be fine.

I would also put on a pair Long johns on under your trousers

I think Paul is more worried about the windscreen freezing, inside and out, rather than anything else. Putting the roof and doors on is the only way I can think to reduce the problem.

the lowest I have driven is -3 and I did not have a problem with the screen freezing.

Mind you I only went around 14 miles and it was dry.

I don't think a silencer will stop the windscreen freezing :)  :)

I find its often the salty crud from following other cars that, unless you have a better wiper / washer system than mine, is the problem.

Also use a chamois pad thingy soaked in neat screen de-icer on hand (if you can reach inside screen with belts on).

Otherwise, I also use Rain X Anti Fog

Good luck, and take your time!

Dave.
