Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative
Put the doors and roof on, shut the vents that send warm air to your feet so all the warm air goes to the windscreen.

litcoat
Will the windscreen steam up? If the temperature is the same inside and out there shouldn't be a problem, it was -2 up here when I was out today and I had no bother. Mark I don't have a heater
Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup)
Just make sure your head, hands and shoulders stay warm and you will be fine. I would also put on a pair Long johns on under your trousers
Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative
I think Paul is more worried about the windscreen freezing, inside and out, rather than anything else. Putting the roof and doors on is the only way I can think to reduce the problem.
Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup)
the lowest I have driven is -3 and I did not have a problem with the screen freezing. Mind you I only went around 14 miles and it was dry.

Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative
I don't think a silencer will stop the windscreen freezing We are being nosey now, where are you going and what are you doing, it sounds like fun? Davep1
I find its often the salty crud from following other cars that, unless you have a better wiper / washer system than mine, is the problem. Also use a chamois pad thingy soaked in neat screen de-icer on hand (if you can reach inside screen with belts on). Otherwise, I also use Rain X Anti Fog http://www.halfords.com/motoring/engine-oils-fluids/screenwash-de-icer/rain-x-anti-fog-200ml Good luck, and take your time! Dave.
