Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup) Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Well today I left Hereford at 11.20am, got home at 6.15pm and told Carol to put her coat on and to leave tea in the oven. What the devil were the first words....... Jumped in Buttercup and took her to Flamborough lighthouse and wined and dined her.........Gin and Tonic with added cucumber and a chocolate orange. 2 Quote

Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup) Posted February 13, 2016 Author Posted February 13, 2016 MacDonald's! Is there no end to these gustatory delights? LOL. it was the only place open. We watched the first fly over and then went from Filey cliffs to Scarborough for Maccy D's and then went back to Filey to see the second fly over. The second fly over was absolutely beautiful. Brilliant! My wife wont even go in my Westfield You need to entice her. My friend's wife will only go in his car for an ice-cream. You need to promise the Mrs you won't go fast and take her somewhere special or fun......like a jewellery shop or Debenhams. Quote
John K Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Geoff is a charmer, he had me at "Chocolate Orange"... And I love the fact my significant other crosses herself and says three hail Mary's when Mr Grumpy comes out of the shed. I get some me time..! 1 Quote
