Kevin (Mr T) Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Hi, Over the last week I have emailed and left messages for Luke about a new set of harnesses. So far, I have heard nothing back from him. Has anyone spoken to him recently. Makes me a bit nervous about handing money over to him! If anyone does speak to him, ask him to check his emails and voicemail Quote
Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup) Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 You are better off ringing them. Leave a message and they will ring you back. You will have no worries with handing over your money. They are great lads and give s great service. Quote
chriss1455 Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 I spoke to him on Wednesday. Answered the phone straight away. As buttercup says better ringing and leaving a message. Will always get back in touch Quote

Will always get back in touchI sent an email Monday and left him a message on Tuesday!Call me old fashioned, but I'm in retail and just have this subconscious thing where I don't feel a potential client should be chasing the supplier to give him some business! But I guess I will have to try again today. 2 Quote
Gerry H Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 I spoke with him last week about harnesses. He confirmed the webpage as being out of stock until end of Feb. Quote

Hi Gerry, Did that mean he can't give a lead time or isn't taking orders? I'm guessing I won't get similar harnesses anywhere else, so I'd be happy to give him and order and get them whenever! Quote
Gerry H Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Hi Gerry, Did that mean he can't give a lead time or isn't taking orders? I'm guessing I won't get similar harnesses anywhere else, so I'd be happy to give him and order and get them whenever! He said they were out of stock of both 4 & 6 point harnesses but did have crotch straps. New stock of both harnesses are expected to arrive at the end of Feb. A quick search didn't reveal another supplier so, having bought an ill fitting 'Westfield' harness last year, decided to wait as at least Playskool know what's required. Quote

Captain Colonial Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Luke's fine, no need to worry, just a busy man and when it is sorted, he'll take good care of you. His father, on the other hand... 1 Quote
tkm_dave Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Spoke to Luke on the phone recently, answered quickly and answered all my probing questions, even when I asked what he was wearing Quote
XTR2Turbo Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 I am the same. I will never repeatedly chase a supplier as a customer. If they don't return calls then I go elsewhere. It's not old fashioned its sensible. I wanted to buy a Ginetta car a few years ago. I even visited the factory and afterwards they didn't reply to answer some pretty basic questions so that put that idea to bed !! It takes seconds to reply to an email ... even if just a courtesy holding reply. Call me old fashioned, but I'm in retail and just have this subconscious thing where I don't feel a potential client should be chasing the supplier to give him some business! 3 Quote
Greenstreak-Andy D Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Luke is fine, just suffering from a lost front and rear ARB's at the moment, not Luke fault but courier! but it is deeply frustrating for me as car is in bits waiting for them! Have spoken to Luke, he is chasing courier i know Andy Quote
AdamR Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 I'm sure that's happened loads of times (4 out of 6 people I know who've bought ARB sets, in fact) - new courier needed! Quote
