S2T Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Unofficially what sort of lap times are you doing around Knockhill What would I expect with a 220bhp/ton Westfield with 'sorted' suspension Quote
S2T Posted January 26, 2016 Author Posted January 26, 2016 Should have said the power/weight includes driver Quote
Andrew Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 A lot will depend on tyres too. I have 170bhp and run used slicks. I managed a few low 58 sec laps towards the end of this vid. I'd say anywhere near a 60 sec lap in a relatively low powered car would be good going. Big power cars can take a lump of time out of a lap purely by "dragstering" up the quite steep straight. 2 Quote
Andrew Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Incidentally, if anyone's thinking of doing a Knockhill day, I'm just waiting for them to announce their summer calendar, and should hopefully find a date we can all pile in to? Quote
