Posting Photos in boardroom threads.

Can somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong? I cannot for the life of me work out how to post photos in my Westfield XI build thread. I've uploaded the photos to my photobucket library, but every time I try to paste a photo from the library to the build thread it seems to simply paste a link to the whole of the library.

I've tried following a description which I found in another thread, but it seems to do the same whatever I try! I anyway, I don't really want a link, whether it is to one photo or to the whole library, I'd rather see the actual photo in the relevant post. Otherwise I think people will get fed up with the build thread. And a build thread without photos is a waste of time I think. :(  :(  :bangshead:  :bangshead:

when you click on the picture on the right hand side you get 4 lines of information one of them says IMG code you need to copy the image code and paste that into your thread

Can you not just upload them directly to the wscc forum?

I thought that is what I have been doing, but it doesn't seem to work? I hate computers, they are so stupid.

Anyway, I've had an offer which I cannot refuse! ;)  ;)

For me.. I have to click oh the "direct" box next to the pic in photobucket.. it then changes to "copied", then paste that code into the box that opens when you click on the "Image" icon above the boardroom dialogue box. (From another old non PC numptie)

I have found in the past Internet Explorer does funny things with the boardroom.  Try Chrome as a test to see if it works.

Where the image code is you left click on it to copy it then paste it into your thread. May be Internet Explorer though as I use Firefox

I must say that I used to upload no problem, I then bought a new laptop, and I now have to click the image icon at the top of the post (3 left of the twitter logo), and then paste the direct url from photobucket.

I use same method as Andrew in post #6 above, although I use Firefox rather than CHrome (for the last year) and long long ago gave up on IE

I could right click on the picture in google pics and copy and paste into WSCC but no more. I agree computers are stupid

The only thing that really can be stupid on a computer is the small nut on the keyboard

Click on the actual photo you want to share from your album, and then click on the box on the Right hand side that I am pointing to below

The box will temporarily show this when you click it

Then come back into your thread on the forum and right click in the area you type your post, and paste it

I do the same as Gary and it works, however it does depend which browser you are using.
