Hi all,

Thanks to Mark @ carbon-nv, I have borrowed a couple of sample screens - one gloss black grp and another carbon fibre. I definitely think the style of aero screen looks better than the little lip I currently have and will give me what I want - push wind over head. Thing is, I also want it to look good, match the rest of the car....and ease my OCD tendencies :-)

Above is a link with a fair few pics, showing the different screens at different angles to get a feel for how it will look....vote now, which do you reckon??

I'm swaying towards the gloss black, as it matches the seats and cage. Although a front on pic makes it look a bit odd (big) to me, the carbon fibre less so. The carbon fibre one looks a little odd I think as nothing else is. Although the front wings and rear wing guards are carbon fibre effect.

Anyone good with photoshop? ??

Which do you think??

Cheers,

Kieren

P.S carbon-nv, top bloke so don't hesitate to enquire about his products!!

I expected to vote carbon till I saw the photos of the gloss black, and changed my mind, voting gloss black, instead, which does suit the car as it currently looks.

That said, if you get a carbon obsession building....

Yes I love carbon so I guess I was looking for this option. ...but do think gloss black looks best, not just me by sounds of it.

I'm planning on sorting my seat position and harnesses - will be good idea to factor in the screen too to make sure I can see over. I guess it can be trimmed but will see...

Cheers guys :-)

My vote depends on your future plans. I love carbon but the black looks better on your car now.

If you plan (or think it might happen) to put carbon in other places then I would want consistency so would go for carbon.

Believe me, getting carbon is a slippery slope! I stared with a little and now have a lot. Marks (carbon-Nov) products are great and he is a very helpful chap.

Haha that's what I was thinking Tim :-) I think it'll definitely be black (for now). Carbon will most certainly lure me in once I've seen others at meets!!

How does this carbon addiction thing work? I'm imagining the vendors hovering outside WSCC area meets. Your first bit of carbon fibre is free. After you are hooked, well...

Jen,

Just say no to carbon fibre kids. :)
