Peak District, the next available Saturday shall we do this?

This road

 

 

is closed on Sundays and summer Saturdays, so by default it is open at the moment on Saturday's. The road winds up the left flank of Ladybower, Howden and Derwent reservoirs for nearly 8 miles to turn around at Kings Tree, from where there is a fantastic view of the Derwent dams.

 

I was mountain biking on it yesterday and it is not a bad view....

 

 

Not a fast, exciting drive but it makes up for it in scenery. So what are we waiting for, if the weather is good I make the 'next available Saturday' to be 16th January. Keep an eye on the events section for further details.

If it's the one I think it is, where you can cycle all the way round it's lovely. Only ever cycled up there, I went down the other side, nice and muddy ☺️
