That's interesting to know Barny, can't remember who told me the things were stretchy, no wonder they're such a faff if they're not.

Got to admit, I've only trailered with either a tonneau or the roof, keeps the inside clean and relatively dry at least.

Barney - very grateful indeed for your advice. I will opt for a tonneau. Need to get one made to cover the boot box. Any recommendations??

Soft Bits for Sevens might be able to help, otherwise you'd be welcome to borrow mine for a few weeks to get an upholsterer to make you a copy...

I have a couple you can try  .but  depends on your seats and roll bars.

Thanks for all the posts on this. I have a full hood and the studs are in perfect position so will take that along and leave with them.
