dombanks Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 i know i asked a while back about mortgages but i spoke to an advisor again today about something and they said that a single person cannot have 2 residential mortgages. but they also said that you could if one of the mortgages says its ok to do so.?? (this is not converting the first mortgage to a buy-to-let mortgage and the getting a 2nd .., which is fine) anyone know if this is true? Quote
reeves_luke89 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I'm an estate agent for my sins and yes it is true. Normally it's a condition of the mortgage offer that you cannot have any other residential mortgage. If you do its just a case of telling them. I have never known it to be an issue. Hope this helps.
