Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Have you been and did you die? Can I have your Westie for Glen, a trackday one will compliment mine perfectly, cage, gaffer tape and all that. Quote
TAFKARM Posted November 24, 2015 Author Posted November 24, 2015 Oi! That gaffa tape is very expensive lightweight racing gaffa tape!! 7 Quote
jeff oakley Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 That looks like a nice day. Is that Chatsworth house? I suspect you are very proud of having this available to you, Lemans or Silverstone in style? Quote
Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup) Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 I really like the picture with the lit runway. In the second picture you look like you are having a plop. Was it that so frightening. Quote
TAFKARM Posted November 24, 2015 Author Posted November 24, 2015 It was Chatsworth well spotted. Unfortunately not our aircraft Jeff, she was on a lesson! Geoff - you should be able to guess the airport i think... Quote
Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup) Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Is it Leeds Bradford by any chance. Quote
pistonbroke Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Have you tried Avgas in the westy yet ? Quote
Andrew Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 I took a couple of bravery pills earlier this year and did this; A few rolls and a loop were enough tbh, don't think I could have done many more before saying hello to me' breakfast! 1 Quote
TAFKARM Posted November 24, 2015 Author Posted November 24, 2015 Andrew I am properly jealous - I've always wanted to do some aerobatics but never got the opportunity! It looks ace! Quote
Andrew Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Looks can be deceiving. .. I actually enjoyed it, but as I say, couldn't have stood much more of the aerobatic stuff. The flight was about an hour.. took off from Teesside, flew over my home, then off towards Barnard Castle for the loopy loops. I got to fly the plane most of the way back. I got surprisingly close to the end of the runway before declaring I was going to miss it, so the pilot took over. My flight was a gift through one of those red letter day things, but if anyone else fancies it get in touch with Tees valley flight training direct, and it'll be cheaper. Quote
Andrew Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 This one makes me smile, poor fella, he was so looking forward to it. Quote
