Hi Geoffrey,

I'm planning to meet you at Dunnottar also, same as Campbell, and then join in until after Cairngorm. I was also thinking of meeting you at Inverness railway station on the previous Saturday morning, 4th June and joining in until after Ullapool if that's OK. If so, what time do you have to be at the station for?

Had some great news.  :t-up:  :t-up:  :t-up:  :t-up:

I have been speaking with  friends, Will Brix and Jonathan Wilson, who both work for Bacardi and are aware of our Scotland trip.

They have organised for six free tickets for us to attend the John Dewar's Whisky distillery in Aberfeldy.  :d  :d  :d  :d  :d

The invitation at present is for Tuesday 7th June, but this will affect our trip to Durness Castle.

I have asked Jonathan to confirm if we can attend on Wednesday 8th of June at 10.00am.

The tour will last about 1.5 hours.

I will update further once I hear back from Jonathan.

FANTASTIC NEWS.

We can go on Wednesday the 8th at 10.00.am to visit the distillery thanks to my friends.

I will put up a separate post as I have tickets for 6 people.

I have been checking the weather forecast every day for the past few days.

At the moment the days we are in Glencoe, Skye and Durness the forecast is saying.

:t-up:  :t-up:  :t-up:  :t-up:  :d  :d  :d  :d

You have no idea how happy I am right at this moment in time.

I know it can all change but last year it was saying.

 for every day and it was still the best holiday I had ever had.

haha I'm using up brownie points at work as is  :) off for a week for Killin (it would be just plain silly to go back for 1 day) back on the monday for 4 days and then off for applecross,  its a hard life... lol

if the weather is good I may go down glenshee and across to pitlochry, a wee bit of a9 to ballinluig (all day breakie and fuel) before going down loch tay to Killin or could meet you on route down the a9, from here probably pick you up at aviemore,

Well Buttercup is all packed and ready to go.

Carol is making Cornish pasties to take with us for breakfast.

I have more batteries and chargers packed than blooming clothes.

So looking forward to setting off now.

If anyone fancies joining us anytime on any of the days, my mobile number is 07715451330.

Just send a text and I will ring you back when I can.
